PANTONARELE sunt ghiduri de culori care reprezinta unealta esentiala in munca de creatie, productie sau verificare a industriilor ce se bazeaza pe culoare: tipar, textil, etc.

PANTONE este cunoscuta ca fiind firma ce a impus un standard pentru culorile speciale ce in general nu pot fi obtinute cu formule bazate pe cele 4 culori de baza din tipografii.

Ghidurile Pantone sunt special concepute pentru verificarea nuantelor importante. Aceste verificari intervin in procesul de monitorizare al crearii de culori pentru diferite aplicatii: design interior, textile, vopsire, tiparire cu culori speciale, etc.

Ghidurile sunt special concepute ca sa identifice nuantele speciale in cazul tiparirii pe metal, textil, hartii lucioase sau mate. Ele contin mii de combinatii de culori aranjate automat in secvente crescatoare cromatic. Aceste ghiduri sunt un instrument ideal de a vizualiza, alege si comunica, precum si a verifica culori de orice fel, logo-uri, chenare, fundaluri si alte elemente grafice. Rasterele sunt alese astfel incat sa permita reproduceri corecte de culoare.

Exista mai multe ghiduri cu destinatii diferite.
